TONS of opportunity for barrel racers in the Mtn States Circuit! TONS via The Mile Hi Pro Tour! Read on my friend...... BREAKING NEWS: All of us involved with the Mountain States Circuit are looking forward to a GREAT summer of barrel racing….whether you rodeo, jackpot, or both!! This is the circuit for you!! You won’t want to miss the WPRA Mountain States Circuit summer tour of events: The Mile Hi Pro Tour! That’s right -- we’ve partnered with Mile Hi to produce these events with and for us in an effort to increase awareness and recruit members to the WPRA who truly enjoy barrel racing. Each tour stop will have a WPRA SIDE POT (each day), a Permit Only Side Pot (except Colo Springs June 21/22) and Youth co-approval with Mile Hi’s Youth Class. Money won from only these events will count toward the Mile Hi Pro Tour Standings. The Finale will be held Saturday evening October 19th in Colorado Springs at the Barrel Race 4 Breast Cancer. Awards will include beautiful buckles to the Champion in all three classes (WPRA Side Pots, Permit Only, Youth). And we will be awarding coats (number to be determined) as well as other prizes as we secure them. The Mile Hi Pro Tour will kick off this weekend at Colorado Springs with the Boots, Bling & Buckle event on Saturday and Sunday! The entire schedule of events is listed below: Stop 1: CO Springs: June 21 & 22, 2013 – Norris Penrose Stadium Outdoor Arena Stop 2: Castle Rock: July 20th & 21st, 2013 – Douglas County Rodeo Arena Stop 3: Castle Rock: August 17th & 18th – Douglas County Indoor Arena Stop 4: Brighton: August 24-25th – Gene Ellis Memorial Barrel Race - Adams County Rodeo Arena Stop 5: Eagle: August 31, September 1-2, 2013 Eagle Indoor Arena Stop 6: Loveland: September 27-28-29, 2013 – D.R. Horton Classic & BBR Western Region Tour Finale @ The Ranch – Larimer County Fairgrounds Mile Hi Pro Tour Finale: Colorado Springs: October 19-20th, 2013 – Mile Hi’s Barrel Race 4 Breast Cancer @ Norris Penrose Indoor Arena. Now is the time to get YOUR membership renewed or bought with WPRA. Get those permits purchased…..you are going to have more than adequate opportunity to get them filled!
