WOW my paper is teaching me so much about discrimination on the gay and lesbian population. Yes I have a girlfriend but we have never encountered anyone judging us for the last four years but just reading about all the harsh judging of others and what they go threw is so hard t imagine and is so sad. here i s a part of my paper where i include what Coretta Scott King said on the matter of gays and lesbians. This is a very strong statement........... Coretta Scott King was and is a strong leader that is listened to by the public and it is believed she started or enforced a stronger movement of gays and lesbians to become more accepted by the United States of American and around the world. “I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people and I should stick to the issue of racial justice, “she said. “But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King Jr. said, ‘Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere (King, 2009)”. Additionally all phobias are very unjustifiable, they are called phobias for a reason.
