Wait long times for appointments, wait years on a claim, lose home while waiting on claims, lose family from all the stress...suicide. This is the cycle that I used to identify what families were going through while I was in D.C. See we can help each other maintain every day, but if we arent identifying and fixing the problem, nothing can ever change or get better. I for one dont want to see families just maintain. I want all of us to have a fighting chance at finding our own different kind of better. Talking about PTSD, how it affects each of us, and sharing what works for each person and helping families figure out how to live with PTSD is what we do. But fighting for your care and benefits and caregiver help is also part of us. We are all in this fight together. We have lived the exact same story!...Shawn
