War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength ~ from 1984 With our craven American idolatry of all-things-military - perpetuated by eternal wars - supposedly under the guise of defeating terrorism (while reshaping the world into democratic states) - but really cementing a Neo-Colonial Fascist (or Corporatist) hegemony over natural resources (and food and water) - we have also upped the ante into (another) global THEOLOGICAL struggle,...to bring Christian values and religious-based law to the masses of humanity. This has not only polluted our already narrow vision of historical truths - but has also put us directly at odds with two other powerful forces. The Islamic World - which has its OWN hyper-religious hocus pocus warts and violence-laden baggage, and the secular quasi-Communism, which shape shift to adopt those elements of Capitalism it finds most useful to sedate THEIR population. Meanwhile, the Mullahs of power - even those seemingly elected democratically - have all conspired to misinform the electorate (through absolute control of the media) and DIS-inform their progeny (through dumbing-down education), to keep everyone in the flock - in the fold. As a result, a worldwide socioeconomic and militarist dytopain future is all but assured for Planet Earth.
