Warehouse Manager for our Rosslyn, Pretoria North office. The responsibility includes Inbound, Outbound, Warehousing and 3rd Party Logistics, Purchasing and Quality Management. This is a replacement position. The staff to be managed include 9 team members, and reports to the Operations Manager. We need high energy candidates, that are focused and strive on success, are target driven and work within set processes and protocols. The remuneration package is budgeted at R10-R20,000.00 per month depending on experience Benefits include 50% of Discovery Healthcare, 50% of Retirement Savings. Target bonus of 10% of salary is paid annually, on achievement of targets/deliverables. It is important to have the last pay slip available, as well as proof of previous bonuses earned. The candidate will be responsible, but not limited for the below functions: Functions: * Manage Warehouse in Pretoria, including : * Warehouse control, stock control, receiving and dispatch control. * Manage team compliment 5 - 10 sub ordinates. * Manage 3rd party logistics companies and courier companies. * Ensuring vehicles dispatched on time against dispatch schedule. * Health & Safety functions for the Warehouse operations. * Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis * Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment * Overall responsibility for all aspects of the effective supervision, training & development * Working closely with Senior Management to ensure adequate stock levels * Ensure quality procedures and team quality targets are strictly adhered to. * Liaising and negotiating with suppliers * Planning projects * Travel occasionally required Specific requirements/pre-requisites for the position, includes: * Tertiary qualification in Warehousing or Logistics will be a definite advantage. * Available after hours on ad hoc basis. * Advanced computer literacy in MS Office. * AccPacc. * Ability to work independently. * Excellent time management -, communication -, house-keeping and time-keeping skills. * Organised, compliance driven. * At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
