Warning this is a rant!! 😠:::: Our tax dollars at work! … or waste rather!! On SH 19 to Palestine just outside of Elkhart they are re-black topping the road! (pardon the slang lol!). Instead of the state wasting the funds to fix roads that are in perfectly good condition, I wonder why they wont allocate all or a portion of those funds to the surrounding counties/cities so that county/city roads could be fixed!!! Our road in the Pecan Drive subdivision is so full of pot holes, I think I may bottom out sometimes!! I have asked some of our city officials and county commissioners and the answer is no money for road repair! Since we bought our house last year, the city has brought in asphalt to fill the pot holes a dozen times! As much as they have used to fill holes (which lasts about two weeks and makes speed bumps versus pot holes) they could have paved our entire subdivision!! … and thats all I have to say about that!!
