It appears Lois Lerner’s neighbors aren’t too fond of her either. “You don’t feel bad you were using the government as a weapon?”, was one of the several questions asked by veteran investigative journalist Jason Mattera to former IRS official Lois Lerner in her upper middle class neighborhood of Bethesda, Maryland, located just outside Washington, D.C. Mattera also asked if she would comment on her part in “using the government as a weapon to crush political dissent.” Lerner did not address Mattera or his cameraman, but instead retreated with her dogs to a neighbors house, where an elderly resident did not want to offer Lerner any hospitality whatsoever. “I don’t want her in the house…Out. Out!” Mattera said on Twitter that he told Lerner he would be coming to the area for a visit: The lady also alluded to having recent surgery. A few moments later, a man, supposedly the lady’s husband, came onto the property and also said he did not want Lerner there.
