Watch for POUND - a new fun fitness class coming to HRH soon! Pound is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn calories, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a stronger body – all while rocking out to your favorite music with continual upper body motion using special lightly weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix™! Taught by Katie. This should be a challenging class, but FUN! Founded by music enthusiasts, drummers Kirsten Potenza and Cristina Peerenboom.
