Watch this! youtube/watch?v=k0xgjUhEG3U&feature=youtu.be Friendship isnt usually this cut and dry. How amazing would it be to simply apply a mathematical formula to decipher who would make the best of friends? Friendship is messy. Its risky. Even Jesus experienced that with His friends, and they spent loads of time together. Real friendship--reliable friendship--means taking a risk. Imagine something that would be risky for you. Maybe its rock climbing, or riding a roller coaster. Possibly initiating initiating a conversation with someone would feel like a gamble. Draw a picture of tat tangible risk. Write friendship somewhere on your artwork. Now, consider what would help that event feel less risky to you. Perhaps a great seat belt on the roller coaster, or a mutual friend to help ease into the conversation, or possibly a climbing helmet on the rocks would be just enough protection for you to take the risk. Now add that safety net to your drawing. Write the name JESUS across it. Reliable friends take risks, but risks are always minimized when Jesus stands with you.
