Watched a brilliant documentary today called The Gatekeepers. The six surviving former heads of the Israeli Secret Service Shin Bat are interviewed for the first time and give an amazing insiders perspective on 50 years of fighting terrorism. It reveals how peace has been close on a number of occasions but has been derailed by religious extremists on both sides. Their summary of the current situation with regards to the Palestinians and how best to resolve the situation is surprising to say the least. A must watch if you want expand your knowledge of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. You will understand that things are very rarely black & white but a multitude of greys and sometimes good men are forced to make very tough decisions.
