Watched the movie Wall-E last night. Its about a robot that is designed to clean planet Earth because humans have destroyed it and the only life that lives there now are cockroaches. He meets another female robot and falls in love. They discover plant life and he follows her back to the space station where the remaining human beings are living. All of the humans are obese, and live in hovering wheelchairs with televisions directly in front of their faces. Machines do everything for them, and the humans are constantly slurping on massive big gulp drinks. Some of the most intelligent, powerful films out there are animated movies for kids. I am also really amazed that this story was green lit, and Disney spent $150M to make such a bold statement. Bravo.
