Watching the Australian of the Year ceremony on ABC1 tonight brought back wonderful memories of being there representing Tassie in 2011. Congratulations to Adam Goodes for being named Australian of the Year 2014 your leadership & advocacy in the fight against racism both on the sporting field & within society makes you a worthy recipient of this honour. Big congrats also to Senior Australian of the Year. Fred Chaney Young Australian of the Year, Jacqueline Freney & Australias Local Hero, Tim Conolan. You all have helped make Australia a better place by your contributions. Thank you.
