There are times when darkness seems inevitable and in a way it is. At the end of each day night fall overtakes us. However, I do believe that that is why we were blessed with stars because in the darkest night they shine their brightest. I feel like the stars can be a correlation to the people we have in our lives. In the darkest times there are some who shine brighter than others. They show how much apart of your life they want to be and that they are just there. When I venture into the vast darkness outside these walls I call home and stare into the never ending sky, I feel at peace because the stars that shine the brightest warm my heart and help me feel less alone. The same feeling overcomes me when I am spending time with certain people in my life. So, tonight, I am thankful for the stars and for my dearest of friends. ♡
