We are considering rescuing a Heeler currently in a shelter. He is 6-7 months old and they stated on his ad that he is starting to nip, when I called they also told me he is nipping and when they emailed me an application they re-iterated that he is trying to heel and nip. So, how hard have you guys found it to break this habit. We owned a Heeler for 10 years (RIP McGruff) but he was very laid back and only tried to herd our mule...and since she liked the game, we let him. Heeler is 100 miles away from us and we cant go see him until later this week. Ideas, suggestions? Anyone successful in bringing one into their home at this age and them leaving your cats alone? They tested him on cats and said very interested but did not seem to be in an aggressive way. Help! m.petfinder/petdetail/30322334?location=&animal=&breed=&age=&gender=&size=&offset=
