We are often so quick to judge ourselves and be disappointed with ourselves because of things we did wrong or things we could have done better. This is human nature when we are working towards achieving something, but its not really helpful to us in the long term. When you have a setback, learn from it and resolve not to repeat the mistake, but then move on. Dont let it bring negativity to your thinking. Go out of your way to create some small success every day, and take the time to celebrate them. At the end of each day you should be able to say, today, I achieved this . . . and it should be something different to yesterday. It might be an extra effort you made in the gym, or hitting a new personal best with something in your workout, maybe learning something new that is helpful to you, writing out a clean eating plan, or anything. Pledge to make each day special in some small way and give yourself a pat on the back for making it so! - Gloria.
