We are pleased to announce a very special wedding for the Reaching Souls family that will take place this October. Olivier Murekezi, one of our Rwandan National Missionaries, and Clothilde Uwishatse, one of our former Reaching Generations orphans, are getting married on October 18th. Clothilde has an amazing testimony about how God rescued her through Reaching Generations. Here it is: I was born in the Gatenga Sector of Kicukiro in Kigali, Rwanda. My family was very poor and often we had nothing to eat. Often we survived by going to the market to gather potatoes abandoned by the traders. Sometimes we could get work at the coffee factory. If we had luck, we could work for one month. We received a little money...about 900 Rwf ($1.31 US) per day. In my family, we were pagan. I had never gone to church to pray. It was very difficult to pray if you had nothing to eat. My parents died when I was 16, and I went to live with my grandmother. One day, a National Missionary was conducting an open air meeting in Gatenga. It was December 23, 2003. I was walking and found one pastor preaching near the sector office. After his preaching, I decided to accept Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord for life. After six months, I was baptized. I began to pray in the church and sing in the Jerusalem Choir. Now I am the president of this choir. After I became a Christian, I received many miracles from God. 1. My family was unable to pay for the school fees. I abandoned the school, but Reaching Generations helped me to continue to study. They paid for my school fees and all the materials of school. 2. Reaching Generations assisted me for a long time to find clothes, shoes, and many things necessary for my life. I thank Reaching Generations for continuing to help me. Now I am the secretary in Rwanda for Reaching Souls International. I thank this ministry for continuing to help the orphans. Clothilde educated out of Reaching Generations. She is now 24 years old and works for our Rwandan National Director as a secretary. We are excited about this new family that God has rescued and brought together. We are praying for great blessings on Olivier and Clothilde. We currently have 109 orphans being cared for by Reaching Generations who need sponsors.
