We are thankful to be a part of this very important community training and partnering with NSASA- The Autism Coalition and the EJ Autism foundation! Suzanne Selkowitz-Reek 7:40am Sep 5 NSASA in partnership with the ELIJA Foundation, the Autism Coalition of Long Island, and the EJ Autism Foundation will be hosting a conference for First Responders. The conference will be free and will help police and fire department personnel more effectively work with our children. We are in the planning stages but it looks like it will be November 12th. Bill Canatta featured on the Today Show will be one of the presenters. Venue still to be determined, time still up in the air. We already have members of NYFD, Suffolk PD on board and will be working on volunteer fire departments on Long Island and more. If anyone has any contacts to help get the word out there and for different departments and people to attend please contact me at suereek@aol
