We give continue to give thanks and praises to our most venerable Afrikan Ancestors for the inspiration to bring into existence the Marcus Garvey Grass Roots School for Education & Liberation and by extension the Community Matinee. It is with profound humility and thanks giving that I express my heart felt appreciation to everyone that came and supported this event. More importantly, it was great to see the level of interaction and level of interest displayed by the children with regards to watching an Afrikan animated film, Chika. All in all, I believe it is safe to say that the film was well received by everyone. Also, it was moving to note of the fact that at the end of the session we formed a unity circle and chanted positive community centered affirmations together! Its all about restoring the Afrikan village in Soualiga. Anyways, look out for the next event scheduled for Saturday August 17th where we will be paying special tribute to the Most Honorable Right & Excellent Papa Marcus Mosiah Garvey. So Stay tuned!!
