We got test results back for Conner. He is insulin resistant and now take medicine daily and hopefully it doesnt turn into diabetes but it can. He also has acid reflux and low vitamin D so he has to take meds for that. Now the doctor wants him to see a therapist b/c he seems to have anxiety...really??? This new doc at Novia seems to know what she is doing, but I really dislike how she talks to us. She kept telling me to stop talking b/c I was in a bubble and couldnt talk she said Conner had to be responsible and talk b/c he will be a man in 5 years. Then she asked Conner about his grads which arent great...she tells me that I NEED to do something about it and help him get his grades up...REAALLY??? I guess I never thought of doing that!!! I got a LECTURE on how I can MAKE him be more responsible. It is up to the parents to make sure he does his homework and succeeds in school. I told her we ground him, we talked to the school ect ect and she said if we did that then he wouldnt be doing so poorly in 2 classes. Then it was the eating habits, I got scolded for how he eats. I tell her I wasnt with him all the time, she said well then who is? I dont know about you but I dont go to school with him and I dont go to his friends house with him...I got the Lecture about him being the baby and I need to stop babying ...however; I wasnt allowed to talk or speak my mind b/c I was told I was in a bubble and couldnt talk. Next time, I will take a pin and pop that dang balloon and tell her what I think about how she can take her little lectures and stick them well....you know where. I left so mad. Geoff kept looking at me and shaking his head no, b/c he knew I was about to tell her off...this was just a couple things she did. We go back Tuesday, hope I can keep mouth shut then!!!!!!!!!! OK, just had to get my anger out LOL
