We have over 300 volunteers supporting Burning River 100 this year. That is more than the number of solo participants and one for less than two participants overall! On race day, it is apparent to most participants as they go through each aid station. Can you believe aid stations are open for over 15 hours? Lets not forget course marking - they are out there today through Sunday - and then again to take all the markings down. There are supply volunteers to stock/restock aid stations, to sweep the course, monitor road crossings, haul trash, help at packet pickup and with the bus transportation. Its truly overwhelming the amount of support this event gets. We will be having a volunteer party to celebrate our fabulous volunteer community on August 24th.
