We heard a sermon last night about how to NOT be offended! There is such a spirit of offense all around and there always will be. We cant let it distract us. We can be saved and church-going and still hate others. Gotta stop it! Its not about people or circumstances, its spiritual warfare, so take authority over our flesh/soul and move past it. Take every thought captive, take control of the tongue! We dont have to say everything we think - honest, the world will keep spinning! We will have many opportunities to be offended EVERYDAY: spouse, kids, relatives, traffic, politics, servers, etc. David in Psalms spoke to his soul and said, I will bless the Lord, oh my soul, and ALL that is within me, bless his holy name! Ps. 103. We are the BOSS of our souls so take authority and be the leader of your life by changing the atmosphere wherever you are.
