We just found out today that the bees living in our north porch are honeybees. They can not just be sprayed, because as long as the queen is alive she will continue to attract bees from up to 5 miles away. The area they are in will need to be deconstructed by a "bee guy" (as in white astronaut costume) who will trap as many bees as he can and then scrape the rest out, sure to get the queen. The area will be sprayed with a bee repellent (excited: it smells like almond extract!) and then Bill and I can re-construct our house. I learned a lot today!
