We just met with the oncologist. Still no official pathology report, but a diagnosis of testicular cancer, 99.5%. There is a very large tumor along my lower spine which has caused my loss of mobility, but it can be treated with chemo rather than surgery. Chemo could start as early as Thursday, same as it was the last time I was treated, with a 99% chance for a cure. Couldnt have asked for better news. Its not going to be easy, I know for a fact, but I can do this. Especially with the incredible support Ive been getting from all of you. Its such a relief to have a game plan so I can attack this head on! They also feel that I will regain use of my leg, though I will still need in-patient physical therapy to move that along.
