We live and die over a period of time! But we have no fundamental understanding of the nature of time. In physics there is no understanding of the ‘moment of now’ or why we have an Arrow of Time. We all have our own time line from the past into the future and we can all look back in time in all directions at the beauty of the stars from the centre of our own reference frame. Time seems to flow like a river as a process of continuous change with a past that has gone forever and a future that is always uncertain. The video below explains this process we call ‘time’ be explaining a process of continuous energy exchange formed by the spontaneous absorption and emission of light. In this theory the future is continuously coming into existence light photon by light photon with each new photon electron coupling or dipole moment. This forms the movement of electric charge with electrical potential representing the potential future within an individual reference frame. In this theory electrical activity in the brain represents the most advanced part of this process. Therefore each life form is always in the centre of their own reference frame in the ‘moment of now’ being able to comprehend this process as ‘time’ with a past they can never change and a future that is always uncertain. This is a totally interactive process the wave particle duality of light is acting like the bits or zeros and ones of a computer. This continuously forms a blank canvas that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual! Therefore the future is always uncertain and at the smallest level this is represented mathematically by Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle with the mathematics of quantum mechanics representing the physics of time as a physical process. The Planck constant is a constant of action within this interactive process and Schrodinger’s wave equation or quantum wave-particle function represents the forward passage of time with a probabilistic future. In our everyday life different reference frames will interact and this probability will be lost in the chaos and disorder in which we live and die.
