We pay entertainment tax on movie tickets. Why do we give anymore importance to movies beyond that? By creating controversy, people are helping draw crowds to the movie. Best way to punish an artist is to completely ignore his/her art. It is obvious to all that each religion / sect / faith has its own share of superstitions and rituals that have lost significance over time and also self proclaimed Gurus and Prophets who use religion to cheat gullible devotees. PK is an attempt to highlight this dark side of religious exploitation in a humorous manner. I laughed heartily at the humor and liked the way the ACTORS acted and enjoyed the movie as an entertainment. My religion that has endured thousands of years of evolution is not so weak to be harmed by a 3 hour movie.
