We received an email from Animals Weekly, who are looking to fill 30 volunteer positions with people who feel strongly about the lies of the meat industry. This is a great chance to put valuable experience on your CV. This is what its about: We’re a not-for-profit press agency and news site focused on the meat industry. We aim to address media bias against farmed animals by providing local and national papers with news stories that are animal-centred, accurate and balanced. We recognise that current media coverage either disregards or minimises animal killings. From stories on school meals to supermarket expansion, the catastrophic impact on animal lives is simply omitted. If these deaths are not reported then their legitimacy cannot be discussed, let alone prevented. If animal liberation is to occur, we must change the way the media report. Animals Weekly will do just that. To take on such vast corporate interests, we need your help. We have over thirty voluntary positions available that range from editors and columnists to researchers, statisticians and photographers.
