We spoke with the nephrologists office yesterday about her tests from the 22nd. Her overall kidney function or health of her kidneys is at 86%. We will continue to follow the trend through regular blood testing to see if her kidney function continues to maintain or otherwise. Also, her blood is acidic - meaning her blood carbon is low. They are going to place her on a solution called sodium citrate citric acid and monitor her blood levels. We will repeat the blood tests 4 weeks from Monday, as she cant begin the medicine until then because it appears no pharmacy around the middle of nowhere carries it in stock as it it apparently is a rare med. the pharmacist said she doesnt know if shes ever even dispersed it. Well alrighty then. Leave it to Madi girl to make things complicated ;) we are still waiting for the follow up with the new urologist from OKC childrens hospital. Thankfully, they come to Tulsa a few times a month for special cases, so that saves us the commute when the time comes! Also had them make note that Thursday, she went 6 1/2 hours holding her pee. Please help us pray that whatever is making her hesitant to void would be alleviated. We know God can and is healing her dad by day. Just pray for continued protection from infection until they find the source of whats going on. Thank you to everyone who has been our prayer partner through this journey. In incidences like the other night when she was running a 103 fever, and 100% the next day, I have no other explanation than The Lord healing her and hearing the prayers of His people.
