We step into the main hall of the gaurd post looking around; The place was messed up pretty badly, claw marks and bullet holes decorated the walls, burn marks lined the walls like an explosion went off, a gun lie against the wall at the far end under a charred impression of a man. I look around Team Light must of been here before they attacked Violet city... They could still be in the ruins somewhere! I say looking into a small guards office on my right and see a man laying in the leftside corner of the room, he wore drab a darkgreen Johto military outfitHey I found someone! I rush over to him kneeling down grabbing his shoulder and shaking him. Is he alive!? I here Kai say as she stepped into the room looking down at him; The man began to cough and open his eyes looking at us K-kids? He begins to push himself up as Rod steps into the room with his Riolu standing on his shoulder. I grab the mans arm helping him up, he steps over leaning on the desk Some strange men came during the night... They took us by storm... one of them had a Typhlosion, it was massive; larger then any other I have seen. He slams his fist down hard onto the desk He may still be in the ruins with the few others! He looks over at Rod and I slowly begin to slide out of the room and he shoots me a glance And where do you think youre going? He takes a step towards me and cringes in pain; I need to go into the ruins, I have to find something. He looks at me and says I will assist you then, my names Leeson but you can call me Lee. Lee gains his bearings and we all step into the main hall and head towards its end, as we pass by the charred impression with the rifle underneath Lee stops kneeling down cursing under his breath as he picked the weapon up. Rod looks over at us shocked and whispers to me Are you sure we should... you know let him bring a gun? He looks over at Kai then back to me and I shrug as we step into the warm and dimming sunlight and look around at the several ruins sticking out of the ground along with small ruined buildings; Looks like the fight led out to here... Lee says looking around holding the rifle at his side. Riolu jumps off from Rods shoulder infront of us looking around, Kai walks ahead It is very quite here. She says examining the hole in the side of the building; Ash lets just go back ok? I dont think it... its safe you know? Rod says looking around I just have a strange feeling. I look over at him saying Look you can go back and wait in the main hall or go back and sit in Violet. You said you were wanting adventure, well welcome to the world of adventure. I quickly walk by feeling Tot climb up onto my shoulder chewing away at something Dont tell my you got into my food basket! I stop and pull off my backpack while Tot climbs onto my head and open it seeing that a quater of my food had been eaten. Lee looks over my shoulder Mind if I have a bite to eat? Never know when your last meal is going to be... He says, I look up at him then back into my backpack pulling out the small basket and handing it to him; Here you go, take what you want we got enough. He takes the basket pulling out a large piece of bread and dried Tauros meat into his right hand and handing the basket back with his left hand, the rifle hanging from his belt now. Hey guys over here! I see someone... He has a very large typhlosion with him. Kai quitely yells and Lee takes out running to see, they duck behind a fallen tree peaking over Thats the guy I was talking about! Lee says looking over at me as I approach pulling my backpack on. Riolu jumps up on the tree motioning for Rod to come and see; Rod reluctantly approached the tree. Is it only him? I ask looking at him as he walked back and forth issuing orders to his oversized typhlosion. Lee stands up saying Its only him, lets go ahead and take him out before he calls backup. He jumps over the tree running behind a collumn peaking around it. Kai looks over at me and nods standing up, I grab her leg Where are you going!? You know... Gunfire erupts and I jerk Kai back down behind the log, Riolu jumps down climbing under Rod. Tot runs up peaking over the log chewing away at a small branch in its mouth, I put my hand on its head forcing it down and peaking over the log to see what was going on since the gunfire stopped. Lee still stood behind a stone column but without a gun, he looked over at us shaking his head, all of the sudden a bright white flashes behind us and Charmander jumps up onto the tree looking around; Charmander jumps down from the tree running out into the open, out of nowhere the large Typhlosion jumps out at her, Charmander jumps up dodging its attackand landing on its back biting its right shoulder. Kai stands up throwing out a pokeball Go Buizel! The ball bursts open with a bright white light and Buizel flys into the air Use Watergun on Typhlosion! I see Charmander roll off running over to Lees coloumn; Buizel opens its mouth as a jet of water flys out hitting the oversized typhlosions back, steam pours off of its back as Buizel lands rolling on the other side. Typhlosions trainer runs into the open yelling Typhlosion get up and burn that thing to a crisp! Typhlosion stands up to its full height and Kai runs out into the open throwing another pokeball Hitmonlee knock some sense into him! the ball bursts into a bright white light and Hitmonlee jumps out landing on Typhlosions head jumping off of it and kicking the guy down. Lee jumps out running over to the guy jumping up and a bright light bursts underneath him and he goes flying backwards hitting the back coloumn hard. I jump out running foward seeing that a Hitmonchan stood there fist still outstretched Hitmonchan turns to Hitmonlee and they both take their fighting stance, I hear a loud growl and turn around seeing the Typhlosion looking at me Buizel jumps up behind it Buizel use Aqua tail! I hear Kai shout, I quickly turn around seeing Lee still laying against the column and run over to him Lee! are you ok? I kneel down looking at him. Still breathing... but hes unconscious. I turn around seeing Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan fighting it out, then over to the Typhlosion and Buizel I see Kais Charmander run back out biting Typhlosions leg hard making it roar in pain and kicking off Charmander, I hear the Typhlosions trainer shout out Typhlosion, rip that charmander apart! I turn running at him drawing my sword. He freezes in shock as I ram my shoulder into him knocking him onto the ground, I put my sword to his neck yelling Return your pokemon now! Or I will shove this through your neck! He stares at me shouting Typhlosion! Hitmonchan! Return now! They all stop turning and walking over to him. A bright blue light hits them both dragging them back into their balls as I stand there with the sword still against his neck. He had tanned skin and the basic Team Light grunt gear. Lee walks up moaning did you win? He looks down at the guy Hes the only one? Why isnt he dead!? Lee says looking over at me as I continued to hold him at sword point; Because I dont believe in mindlessly killing everyone. Lee looks angrily at me and turns around fuming. I pull out Spinarks pokeball pressing the center button and it bursts open in bright white light and spinakr jumps out landing beside the grunt; Spinark string this man up! Spinark jumps up on my shoulder turning to face him opening his mouth and spraying the silky webbing all over him pinning him to the ground. He looks up at me saying You wont get away with this! Once the boss finds out what happened... I look down at him smiling and saying Is he the white haired guy and has a Machamp? He looks up at me surprised; Yes t-thats him! An... I look over at Kai as she begins to return her pokemon but charmander and she looks back at me saying He fled with the rest of the able bodied team light members. The grunt goes quite staring up at the sky no as the sun continued to go down. Rod runs up beside us holding Riolu Is it over? He looks down at the guy pinned under the webbing So this is the guy that forced his way in... The one with the oversized pokemon right? I sheath my sword saying Yea we have him subdued for now, he just realized that he missed the order to flee back to wherever. Me and Rod turn around hearing Kai say Ash look! we see Charmander standing there looking up with its mouth open. Tot climbs up onto my shoulder and we watch as a large flame shoots out of Charmanders mouth, it flew up above him about 2 ft and split apart falling around him forming a flaming cacoon; The flames spun faster and faster constantly then they disperese revealing a shiny Charmeleon standing in Charmanders spot still looking up with its mouth open. Congrats Kai! I hear Rod say, the newly evolved charmeleon looked down dead at me with a glare in its eyes Char, charm, eleon! I stare back at it and say Youre still a runt! Its expression changes to a happy one and runs over to Kai hugging her leg. I turn back around and Tot jumps on the pinned man Start talking now, or my friend here is going to eat you slowly. Lee turns around saying Thats more like it! The mans face filled with panic and fear. My name is Pedro, I am a low member in Team Light! I dont know much! Please, Please I beg you dont let it eat me! He starts to try to break free and Tot opens his mouth slowly staring at him and he freezes If they really fled then they will be heading to Goldenrod or Azalea town! Thats all I know! I turn around pulling out my Pokegear finding officer Marys number and calling it. The pokegear beeped twice and Mary picked up Hello? Whom am I speaking with? I look down at the man saying Hey Mary its me Ash, We captured another Team Light member here at the Ruins of Alph, he said that Team Light will be heading to either Azalea town or Goldenrod city. I hear some rummaging around in the background Alright Azalea or Goldenrod, got it. I am sending a unit to retrieve him, make sure he doesnt go anywhere ok? I look over at Kai and Lee and reply back with Ok you have my word. The pokegear beeped as she hung up, I closed it putting it back into my pocket Tot, you have already ate enough today! Get down from him. Tot looks up at me and then back at Pedro and closes his mouth jumping onto my pants leg and climbing up to my shoulder, and begins to rub his head against my face. I reach up and pet him turning around looking at the place. So why exactly are you kids here? I hear Lee ask I turn around as Kai replied back Ash had a strange dream about this place and his sword so we came to investigate it. Riolu jumps onto pedro and hits him in the face Bad Riolu! Get back here now! Rod shouts stomping his foot; Riolu turns around looking down and walking to him, Rod looks over at me So what was the dream about anyway? I turn and look at him then back at Lee and began to tell them what I had dreamt about. Several minutes pass and two police officers run up with their guns drawn, where is the suspect!? The one on the right yells over to us. I point at Pedro still tied to the ground There he is. I say and Lee leans down pulling him out of the weakening webs and walking back with the left officer telling him what had happened. My name is Vete, Mary told me to give you this and said that you have the full backing of the Johto police force. He pulls out a small brown case handing it to me; Is this what I think it is? I say looking at the leather exterior and opening it up to see the badge and ID incased within it; Yes, and also we have one for you Kai. These will get you access to places others may not be able to get into, I see you have a new friend also I will inform Mary to what had happened. He turns around running back to the guard post; Me and Kai look at our new badges and IDs Rod tiptoes behind me looking at them Cool you two are like police now! Wow youre both 17 only a month apart to. He looks back and forth at the badges You both even have level 3 clearance tags! I put my hand over his mouth as he opened it again to begin talking; Calm down, its not that big of a deal. I say smiling, I feel something Tot moving back into the bag; We still need to get inside these ruins and find out what Ashs dream was about! Kai says estaticaly And dont forget your spinark! I look aoround spotting the green bug climbing the walls and yell Spinark return! It jumps down and a blue light hits him dragging it back into its pokeball Lets get started then I say as Rod and his Riolu look around. Kai nods and we begin to head for the large main Ruin entrance... ~Trainer Ash
