We took these kittens from a family across the street who were - TopicsExpress

We took these kittens from a family across the street who were being evicted. They werent sure what was going to happen and they wanted to know someone was taking care of their kittens. Now theyve apparently settled in at one of the parents homes and they want at least some of their kittens back. Which I understand, but really hate. Ive become really attached to them. I was just polishing some pickup pole pieces with my Dremel and Gandy got up in the chair behind me, hopped up on the back of the chair and then walked onto my left shoulder. He rubbed his nose around on my ear and then when I turned my head to look at him he rubbed his nose against my nose. If someone tried to take him from me right then Id have grabbed a hammer. April and I have raised these guys from before their eyes were open. We completely shifted things around in the house to make it all work. Weve angered Indie so much she wont come into the house for 2-3 days at a time. You put that much time and effort into raising animals and they become pretty important to you. I really love them all. Were always talking about how beautiful Gandy is or how smart Strippy is or how independent Tish has become. We love Poofs big heart (and big appetite for human food). We love little Zippys random energy and enthusiasm for everything she does. Seeing any of them go will be heartbreaking. Of course Mama is going. Shes a purebred Lilac Point Siamese. They want to breed her. She was so skinny when she got here that you could see her spine sticking out, but weve managed to put some weight on her. The next few days are really going to suck.
