We were moved to a regular room! He has to get a few things settled before we go home again. He has to have stable sodium levels, get home health set up to come to the house for labs, we have to be trained on how to administer his anti fungal meds through his broviac and how to care for it, and he needs follow up imaging (MRI) to 1) confirm he isnt continuing to build up fluid and 2) to make sure none of the fluid is suspicion of infection. So a few things have to line up before we could go home but it could be as early as Monday just depending of if they want him to get the MRI as an inpatient or outpatient and depending on how soon home health can get arranged. We have had some HUGE blessings, I cant even begin to express how overwhelmed my heart has been with joy and love.
