We will have our Temples 5th anniversary celebrations on Saturday Feb 1st and Sunday Feb 2nd, details are as per following. This year again we will have Shri Lankesh Haria from Cherry Hill, NJ and Shri Nitul Haria from Milpitas, CA conducting 18 abhishek ceremony. Saturday February 1, 2014 8:30 am to 9:30 am - Abhishek/Pakshal 9:30 am to 11:30 am - Panch Parmesthi Pujan followed by lunch Sunday February 2, 2014 7:30 am to 8:00 am - Abhishek/Pakshal 8:00 am to 11:30 am - 18 Abhishek, Dhwaja (flag) Changing Ceremony followed by Aarti, Divo & lunch For 18 Abhisheks on Sunday 2nd - Starts at 8:00 am This annual ritual is a very pious ceremony in which we do 18 different abhishek of idols with different kinds of minerals/material mixed with water. This 18 puja along with Bhakti/Bhavna will be a true uplifting experience. We want everyone to be part of this ritual hence we have kept participation at minimum amount. We will be do 18 abhisheks on 12 Bhamti Idols (13 through 24) and Mulnayak Rushbhdev Bhagwan. Since we have less space in Bhamti area we want to limit number of changes between abhisheks so we have few opportunities. For Mulnayak Rushabhdev Bhagwan - $101 for each Abhishek For Bhamti Idols - $101 for either 1-8 abhisheks or 9-18 abhisheks. Surya & Chandra Darshan (after 8th abhishek) - $501 each. Please reply to this e-mail to sign up for abhisheks or contact Divyesh Shah ( 480-862-2625 ) We will be doing gheeboli for Aarti/Divo/ Shanti Kumbh and Dhwaja ceremony on sunday during the program . For doing 18 abhishek you will need to wear Puja clothes. You will not need to wear puja clothes for other mentioned activities for gheeboli. You can also bring idol from your home for 18 abhishek for $101, we will provide all necessary material for abhishek. Please make sure and let us know ahead of time so we have setup and do preparations accordingly. The family doing dhwaja ceremony will carry Dhwaja in a procession from temple to outside and hoist the flag. They will get the flag back to keep when new flag is hoisted next year.
