Wednesday, October 8th Physical Science: reviewed facts about Aristotle, Democritus, and Mendeleev, talked about Mendeleev organizing the Periodic Table, worked on designing and organizing a store ( simulating Mendeleevs task of organizing elements), will have our test over Atoms on Tuesday, the 14th. Biology: talked about superstitions and their relationship to science, defined technology and finished reading Section 1.3 on technology, turned in Bell Jar Graph, talked about Red Wrigglers and made observations of worms, will work on formulating questions and a hypothesis tomorrow. Advanced Biology: reviewed fish brain parts and their function: cerebellum, medulla, and cerebrum, read about Agnatha: jawless fishes: hagfish and lamprey, watched more of Piranha video, looked over lab form for Thursdays perch lab. Chemistry: heated up Coca-Cola as a physical change until it became a chemical one. * Check out the video below.
