Week ten- Went to a playgroup with both the boys, one that I havent been to for years. They were having a summer party as, like most childrens things, it was breaking up for the summer. After weeks of not being able to find the end of our pump to blow up the paddling pool, I finally asked a friend to borrow one and took the plunge and, by hand, blew it up in the sweltering heat. It was worth it though, Dylan had hours of fun in it 😊 July, appears to be the month of babies 😊 I have had 4 friends deliver 4 gorgeous babies, 2 girls and 2 boys 😊. Seeing these tiny newborns makes me realise how big Felix is getting and how quick he is getting big! Sorting through all of his clothes that dont fit him anymore 😞 trying to decide what to do with them 😕 When I was growing up, our family holiday was almost always a camping one. My mum boasts of taking myself and my older brother camping when we were just months old 😊 she has always been a brave lady 😊. Chatting to my husband, we thought it would be really nice father son bonding for them to go. So I booked it all. We talked to Dylan about it, who insisted that he didnt like camping (despite never being before) Saturday (takes deep breath) they went... I think they both enjoyed all the activities of being away, camping... But night fell and the experience soured slightly 😕 they were near a noisy group, Dylan was super tired but struggled to get to sleep. Like any camping trip, they were both awake and up early... When I say early, they were home by 9 Sunday morning... Im not sure camping will happen again for a while 😊 I spent a lot of my weekend baking cake pops....... 40+ of them for my first cake pop decorating session at a local cafe, literally having no idea how many I would need. Is it really sad that I really love buying sprinkles... When I was in high school I LOVED stationary, I dont really have a reason to buy that anymore but I think I have the same passion for sprinkles 😕 hahaha!
