Weekend update - Uncle Mike is good. He is making progress every day, just not as fast as he would like. His chest x-ray on Friday showed, over all improvement. YEAH! He is back on a little oxygen as of yesterday. He had another esophageal video today and it shows that there is residual at the end of his esophagus when he swallows that wont allow other food to pass through, which causes the aspiration. They are doing a bedside tray test with real food for breakfast tomorrow. After that they may make a decision about transferring him to the rehab facility...maybe tomorrow??? And, tomorrow is their 58th wedding anniversary!!!!!!
