Weekend weather: Figured I would break this down day by day with so many of you having outdoor plans. Rain chances the next few days will be hit/miss. It will not be a washout the entire weekend, BUT if your town sees a storm move overhead, it has the potential to dump a lot of rain in a short amount of time. Ill post again Friday afternoon with any updates. Friday: Clouds/sun mix giving way to scattered tstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Timing looks to be after 5pm. Temps in the lower 80s. Saturday: Early morning rain chance, then we should see a break midday. A much better chance for tstorms in the late afternoon as a cold front approaches. With abundant moisture available during the heating of day, very heavy rainfall possible. Temps in the lower 80s. Sunday: Sun/cloud mix. Slight chance of rain, but not nearly as much coverage of the precipitation compared to what we will see on Saturday. Temps in the lower 80s. If you have flexible outdoor plans, Sunday would be the day to be outside. Monday (Labor Day): Sun/cloud mix to start the day with showers & tstorms likely in the afternoon and evening ahead of another boundary. Some of these may be strong with gusty winds and VERY heavy rainfall.
