[Weekends in the Gardens] The Trellis Garden which starts right outside the Botanic Gardens MRT exit showcases the Gardens’ climber collection. Climbers are plants which require support in order to grow upwards to absorb sunlight. Different kinds of climbers use their own means to do this. For example, twining vines twine around their host while others climb using tendrils, thorns or hooks. Swing by the Trellis Garden during the weekend and check out the unique leaves and flowers of the Pipe Vine (Aristolochia leuconeura) from Central and South America. Have a great weekend! ^_^ [Photo credit: Dennis Sng] #sbgweekendsinthegardens #weekend #sbg #singaporebotanicgardens #trellisgarden #botanicgardens
