Weekly Fact: We are becoming more selective in which of our nannies we choose to breed. We have over thirty of them and we cant breed all of them! So we are going to be picking out the healthiest nannies with the best combination of traits. We look at teeth, feet (good hoof conformation), teats (only two!), body conformation, and mohair coverage. We dont have a billy to breed this year, and we didnt breed last year either. We are using these years to focus on refining our health and parasite programs as well as determine how to use the new pastures weve enclosed. So when we do have more kids, well be even better.
