Welcome Jennifer! The newest artist to join the Art Studios on Aurora is pianist Jennifer Wenger. Jennifer will be offering private piano lessons and conversational Chinese classes in her studio. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy from Northland International University of Dunbar, Wisconsin, and her Master’s Degree in Keyboard Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. She is a classically-trained pianist who has been teaching piano since her teen years and emphasizes the development of musical expressiveness and creativity from the earliest stages of piano study. She has also taught English as a Foreign Language for Shanghai University and Berlitz and holds a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Jennifer is a self-taught speaker of Chinese and emphasizes language-learning strategies in all her language instruction. She is obsessed with the study of foreign languages and thrives on building bridges between cultures by encouraging culture and language exploration. Jennifer is thrilled to be a part of the cultural and artistic offerings that the DowntownARTplace and Art Studios on Aurora are bringing to our community.
