Welcome registered students This course provides an insight to students the nine areas of project management body of knowledge (PMBOK) involved in managing projects. Comprehension of these areas amongst others is critical in ensuring successful project planning and implementation. In this course, students will be: •Exposed to the complex nature of managing projects as well as those factors that affect and enhance prospects for planned organisational initiative •Guided to articulate a perspective on the contextual and conceptual foundations of fundamental difference between project and general management. •Exposed to the processes and many of the strategies and techniques which can be applied to lead, manage and facilitate the overall management of projects within the nine knowledge areas. •Guided to demonstrate their ability to take part in or evaluate the overall management of projects.
