Welcome to Saturday Forum. A local businessman suggested this question, after his experience with opponents of Mary Fallin when he welcomed her to his business during a campaign stump. Do you have a tough time being civil to someone who has views that oppose yours, or do you respect the rights of others to have different opinions? Can you engage in dialogue with opponents without becoming hostile? What do you think of trolls – people who relentlessly attack others for reaching across the philosophical aisle? And finally, would you welcome to your establishment a politician, religious figure or anyone else whose views are at odds with your own – say, on the subject of reproductive rights, gay marriage, or gun control? Why or why not? If someone ELSE invited to his establishment or forum people with views to which you object, would you then avoid that venue, or protest the inclusion of those people? Weigh in! ~Kim
