Well, the entire clan wasnt participating for this clip, but a few of them decided to humor us... And yes, you are seeing correctly... They have their very own ball pit that they can play in (While under keeper supervision of course). Although prairie dogs are illegal to own as pets in Georgia, they are still legal in many states. They can be very difficult to care for, require a specialized diet, go through seasonal personality changes where they can become agitated and sometimes aggressive, and are very social animals.
