Well I can truly say sometimes I wonder why I didnt go to culinary school (patting myself on the back), I love cooking.....sometimes. I have to thank My mother for raising me with such great cooking. In addition I have to thank Ryan and Stephanie Snyder and Vicki Clarke for Hiring me 4 years ago with Martin Hospitality - Serving Cannon Beach and Seaside, Oregon! I have worked at the Lumberyard Rotisserie & Grill as a server but I have also paid close attention to the line cooks and Chefs, Especially my favorite Chef: Geoff Gunn, thanks for teaching me about how to cook ahi (first time was tonight and I overcooked it slightly...it wasnt dry, but I learned for next time), and many other things...little did you know I was actually paying close attention. Tonight I thought of you as I made Parmesan and pepper-crusted Ahi, on a bed of white rice, fresh broccoli, and large sauteed Cremini mushrooms as sides and a slice of whole wheat toast with olive oil. yummmm BEFORE AND AFTER!
