Well, I needed to top off 2014 with two additional surgeries! My horrible “side-effects” in the last two weeks of chemo turned out to be gallbladder attacks. Totally unrelated to my cancer treatment. I had surgery to remove a stone that created a blockage followed by surgery to remove my gallbladder. I do want to say a huge THANK YOU to my family and friends-who-are-my-family that celebrated GOOD HEALTH with me yesterday. Thank you to those that drove hours despite our impending weather. Thank you Janet Simonsen, Paul Simonsen, Amy Simonsen DiPaola & Jennifer Simonsen for hosting. You all have been my strength. And to everyone who sent cards and online well-wishes, thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers. I’m feeling the best I have in 6 months and hoping for a boring & uneventful holiday season!!!
