Well all I can say is Murphy caught up to Joe and I today...Murphys Law at Emma lake off of Murphy Road. What will go wrong did go wrong for Joe and I today. It started off by thinking my shoe popped off into the water, I never noticed due to nerve damage in my feet. We searched and searched for the missing shoe and our deep cycle battery died mid Lake. Then in Joes end of the boat, the plug popped out and we instantly took on a foot and a half of water in my 10 foot flat bottom... Joe lost the bailing can and we barely made it to shore before the boat went under. I was cracking up mid crisis because Joe looked like a Bugs Bunny cartoon character paddling as fast as he could. Two bites, no fish and lucky to make it home intact...the Curse of Emma Lake and Murphy road is behind the both of us now, thank god.
