Well, have spent the last couple days trekking half way across the country for a successful trip to the hospital - now have spanking new prosthetic ears and, wait for it, x2 BAHA 4s to start using. (Turns out one of my abutments OK for oticon or cochlea, but the other recent one only works with cochlear). Screws feeling a little sore at mo with people prodding and pulling stuff on and off them lol, but cant wait to try them at weekend. Got given the microphone and telephone thingies as well so will be messing around with them all. Sounded OK in the audiology room wearing them though I heard more Ss in my voice.
