Well, if you hate it here that much then LEAVE! :) And to the irrelevant Henry Rollins, why not simmer down and leave the strip where you were writing your disgust with our city. Take a hike in the red rock canyon, visit the snow on Mount Charleston..... I am so exhausted from hearing about how people who live here have such distaste for living here - I do not get it - there is more to Las Vegas than the strip it is, what a 5 mile piece of glitz and excess? So what? Where are the other places that offer casinos, restaurants, strippers, musicians, theater, and the like? Who cares? I have managed to build a great life here, met some of the greatest people I know, and live work and play here - it is my home. Sure, it gets a little crazy, and NO I do not have children, which still gives me the right to have an opinion by the way, but I also do not see a lot of the strip where I live, and I generally stay around my neighborhood. It is no different than living in the suburbs of another city. I love the new downtown, I think it is great that there are people who want to rebuild it, and make the city more than what many perceive it to be. Yes, Happy Monday, this is not a normal cross post of mine of a sweet little dog waiting for adoption, nor is it a positive message from Buddha....it is my rant to say if you do not like it here then leave......just as I would say to people who come from other countries and pick on us and our culture - then leave. I am very protective of my home, and my country. We have some issues, of course, but we really have it made.
