Well, it looks like my new book is what they call controversial. Out of 26 reviews, five of them are 1-stars. Each and every one of those fivers raised hell because my MC had a difficult time overcoming the fact that the woman he cared for was missing two fingers. The last review is headlined 5th Grade Level, and all of them have pulled the books overall rating down to 3.9 stars. With a rating that low there wont be any promoting that book. No big sites will want to feature it. Just saying, ya gotta have tough skin to remain in this business.
