Well it was a very productive day. Met with the Estate Sale company and signed the contract. Sale is Oct 24th & 25th from 9am - 4:30pm. All items will be priced and staff on site to make an offer. This company was very professional and really made this process more comfortable for me than I thought it would be. We should come out of this pretty well. Also talked with our realtor and will officially list the house Monday. She said housing under $300k are moving fast. Lots of investors are buying them up in our neighborhood because of Toyota and State Farm new headquarters are right down the road. Just waiting on the final comps to come back, but looks like we will make out better than I expected. All that being said, I have a lot packing to get done between now and this weekend so I can start moving our personal items to storage. Need to basically be out of the house by Sunday the 19th so the Estate company can start their process on the 20th. One more item I need to take care of is our pet bird Zoey. I need to find him a new home. I will post some pictures of him and his cages. He has lots of toys and loves to sing. He is very playful and loves to fly so you will need to keep his wings clipped. He is tame and loves to be hand feed Cheerios. His cages are like brand new and to buy new ones would cost between 400-500 dollars. Zoey is registered and comes with papers. We just want him to have a good home and will give him away for free. We will include all three cages and food to the right home . Stay tuned for more details.
