Well, its been a rollercoaster kind of day. Our newest grandchild was born this morning ~ and let me tell you, he is beautiful! He developed some breathing difficulties and had to be transferred to MMC. They sent a team from The Barbara Bush Childrens Hospital at Maine Medical Center and transported him. The staff at Mid Coast Hospital and the team from MMC have provided outstanding care. They are very optimistic that he will improve in 24 hrs and even more so in 48 hrs. Hewill be there for at least 7 days to have antibiotics and the very best care available in the state of Maine. Please continue saying a prayer for him and Justin & Connie every day. They didnt have an available bed for Connie so she chose to be discharged from MCH so that she can be with her precious baby boy. She & Justin are there now and I know they are scared. Thank you, xo
