Well, its been an eventful few days. Friday, I had a job interview. Its for a twelve month fixed term maternity cover contract. I think that it went well. I answered all their questions and also showed that I had researched the company. I will know by the end of the week whether I have been successful. Today, I was at Southend General Hospital Eye Clinic, for my first course of treatment. I had an injection into my eyeball. I know, it freaked me out as well, but it was surprisingly non spectacular. After numbing & cleaning the eyeball I felt a very slight sensation. Once the anaesthetic had worn off, I felt, and still feel, a slight discomfort, but apart from that, and Im surprised that Im saying this, it wasnt too bad.
